Fastly’s concept of Surrogate Keys allows you to mark multiple assets and purge them as a group. This type of purging, combined with use of headers and conditions, allows you to replicate wildcard-like purging based on URLs.
You can find instructions for wildcard purging in our Purging documentation. In our two-part blog post on Surrogate Keys, part one offers some great examples of when wildcard purging may be useful. (If you really want in-depth info, part two offers a deep dive into how Fastly implemented the concept of Surrogate Keys in Varnish.)
