Using Fastly Shared SSL with Magento
Fastly works great with the unsecure frontend of our Magento website but it’s not clear how to configure Fastly and Magento to use Fastly’s shared domain TLS wildcard certificate.
We setup the new domain our_name.global.ssl.fastly.net in the Fastly service -> configuration --> domains panel
Then we went into the Magento admin -> system -> config -> web and changed the secure URLs to use https://our_name.global.ssl.fastly.net
When we attempt to connect to one of the store’s secure URLs we get bounced to the store’s front page.
Looks like we’re missing something - can anyone advise?
Thanks, Jeff

It doesn't only help to let the user be on safe side but also I have noticed that search engine shows a green signal for the websites that have SSL installed and red signal for the websites that are not SSL installed.https://www.cloudways.com/blog/how-to-install-ssl-on-magento/, Here's the best guide that helped me to fix SSL in my Magento store.

Further information can also be found here depending on your version of Magento (its important to make us aware of the implementation we are looking to support when contacting support): https://github.com/fastly/fastly-magento2/blob/master/Documentation/TLS.md
