    Hi Fred.

In the German region we have been working very closely with the providers and hope to have performance improvements soon. Having said that, we will log a Support ticket on your behalf for this inquiry. This will allow us to work with you to gather more details and to follow up when the improvements are complete.

The Deutsche Telekom is known for bad peering, they want CDNs to pay a high price for direct peering, because they have a lot of customers. The Deutsche Telekom is known to use their high customer count to force peering partners to pay a high price to peer with the Telekom.

It would be most helpful to switch to a comptent ISP that doesen't missuse their customers for extra cash. You can also complain to the Telekom for that. fastly itself ist not the primary culprit, but the Telekom.
